Representative Young Holds Hearing on the Military Health System

February 8, 2012 -- Today, Representative C.W. Bill Young chaired the House Appropriations Subcommittee for Defense’s first hearing of the year with the Army, Navy, and Air Force Surgeons General.  Taking care of the troops and their families is Representative Young’s highest priority which is why this hearing, focused on military health programs, was selected to be the subject of the Subcommittee's initial hearing. The hearing covered a wide range of topics, including the continuity of care provided to our Service Men and Women and the merger of Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Center at Bethesda into the Walter Reed National Medical Center.
